His Excellency
Bishop Nilmar entered the priesthood on January 29, 1942, and was appointed bishop on May 11, 1959. He was Vicar General in the Archdiocese of Jaro, then Auxiliary Bishop of the
Archdioceses of Jaro and Davao in 1958-1959. In 1976 he became First Bishop of Kalibo. He retired in 1991. |
