ECBA sets nat'l planning-consultation

The CBCP Episcopal Commission for the Biblical Apostolate (ECBA) will hold its 3^rd National Consultation and Planning on June 11-13 at the Magnificat Center, Villa Del Mar, Suwa, Romblon. 

The Consultation comes on the heels of a five-day meeting of seven ECBA consultors last April 22 to 27 at the Romblon Diocesan Center, during which they discussed the joys and challenges of the Biblical apostolate as presented in the results of a survey conducted by the Asian Social Institute (ASI).  The recorded discoveries from the region encouraged the group to come up with guidelines and a manual fro the Biblical apostolate.

This will be the main agenda for reflection and deliberation during the National Consultation and Planning, so that the partners in the Biblical apostolate ". may be strengthened together" (Rom 1:12).

Expected to attended the gathering are all Regional Bible Center directors (10); all Diocesan Bible directors and promoters (80); and one lay staff from each of the 10 regions.

Registration fee for the consultation and planning session is P2, 500, which covers board and lodging, kit, marble certificate souvenir, t-shirt, R and R. Participants are requested to bring the revised vision/mission/goal of their Regional Bible Center; printed copies of modules for on-going formation with a short description of each course; biblical materials/products for sharing, exhibit, sale and promotion; suggestions for the theme of the 15^th national workshop (scheduled in February 2003); and nominations/offers to host the 15 ^th national workshop.
